The History of Our Name and Logo.

As our founder listened to an opening address delivered to a group of mostly tie clad charitably minded business and community leaders, the name and endeavour to start something that matters was born and over the pursuing months with extensive research and guidance along with a series of personal events the name grew an affinity to youth mental health. The original logo - Three ties, a blue striped, green / gold blocks and clown like red polka dot tie was simplified to the current red spotted tie known as our “Dynamic Tie Device” that now offers a digital and physical form that has become an integral part of our national events and licensing strategies.

How is the Public Fundraising Monies Distributed?

Ties For Lives foundation was set up as an Australian ancillary public fund and became a Health Promotion Charity in late 2013 which requires the distribution and use of the funds for the purpose of delivering the SPOTa program. Our goal is to distribute 1,000,000 SPOTa card throughout Australia over the next 3 years and train 2,000 local community representatives in Mental Health First Aid

Ties For Lives Foundation has mandated to ensure that best practice industry guidelines and cost effective fundraising ratios are met .

A Word from our Founder.

Dear Friends, today we all have an opportunity to simply and positively have an impact on the lives of one or many.

Your participation through our initiatives and sharing the words of our message will bring a new awareness to many of the issues facing our young people and determine how those issues play out in this fast paced and ever changing global community.

For me there are many to thank for the journey so far, the guidance and support has been unbelievable...thank you.  To be able to expand and develop the initial simple idea that now can deliver something that matters for the youth of our nations has been a life changing event... A BIG thank you to you all for your help!!

Should this venture assist one or many young people may be somewhat uncertain at this time, however, if it is one, we should cherish that one and celebrate... If it is many then we should cherish the many and recognise that we leave a legacy that we can all be proud of for generations to come. Download and display responsibly. Be BOLD out there and Enjoy Life!! David L Wright - CEO & Founder
